Make sense of VC with our new podcast

Following the success of ‘Geekout with Matt Navarra,’ we’re pleased to introduce the second Big Revolution podcast production. This time, it’s a short documentary series created to help entrepreneurs understand the world of venture capital.

Last year, I went to an event about tech investment where an investor asked the audience of entrepreneurs how many of them understood a VC’s business model. None of them put their hand up. I was shocked. How could they not understand the very thing many of them wanted? Or even already had? At first I considered running an event to explain VC. But a podcast can include a much broader range of voices, and have much further reach.

Making Sense of VC is a three-part documentary series featuring venture capitalists, journalists, and industry observers discussing how the industry works; how VCs make money (and who they make money for!); the pitfalls founders fall into when dealing with investors; how VC is evolving, and much more.

Guests include names from Atomico, Seedcamp, Amadeus Capital Partners, ADV, Speedinvest, Hoxton Ventures, Episode1, Cargill, Crunchbase News, Tech.eu, and more.

Listen to the trailer below, and look out for the full three-part series coming very soon to your favourite podcast service.

Get ready for 'Making Sense of VC,' the new short documentary series that helps you understand the main way high-growth tech companies receive investment: venture capital. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a journalist, a student, or you just want to learn more about how the wheels of innovation are oiled, you'll find a lot of value here.
